Testosterone Replacement Therapy Online for Men in Texas

Feeling worn down, foggy, or just not like yourself? For some men, low testosterone ("low T") is part of the picture. At Sana Vida Wellness Center, we evaluate and treat low T entirely online. You get a careful, lab-based plan without the waiting room.

Many men search for a "low T clinic in San Antonio." Our care is virtual only, so you can meet with us from home, work, or anywhere in Texas.

Texas only: Testosterone is a controlled medication, so testosterone therapy is available only to men who live in Texas and are physically located in Texas during their visits. It is not offered in our other licensed states.

Common signs of low testosterone

Low T can show up gradually. Men often notice:
- Low energy or fatigue that sleep doesn't fix
- Lower sex drive or changes in erections
- Loss of muscle, or more belly fat
- Low mood, irritability, or trouble concentrating
- Poor sleep or reduced motivation

These symptoms have many possible causes, including thyroid problems, sleep apnea, stress, medications, and blood sugar issues. That's why we test instead of guessing.

How a virtual low T evaluation works

  1. Book a video visit. Choose a time at our online scheduler.
  2. Talk it through. Dr. P. John Schanen reviews your symptoms, health history, medications, and goals.
  3. Get labs locally. We order blood work at a nearby LabCorp or Quest location. Testosterone is usually checked in the morning, often on two separate days, along with related labs such as a blood count and other hormone or metabolic markers.
  4. Review results together. We explain what your numbers mean and whether treatment makes sense for you.

Treatment overview

If testing confirms low testosterone and treatment is a good fit, options may include testosterone given by injection or applied to the skin as a gel or cream. We'll talk through the pros, cons, cost, and routine of each. Sometimes the right first step is to address something else, such as sleep, weight, or another medication. We'll tell you if that's the case.

Safety and monitoring

Testosterone is a prescription medicine, and it needs follow-up. Your plan includes:
- Repeat labs at regular intervals, including testosterone level, red blood cell count (hematocrit), and other markers as needed
- Check-ins on symptoms, blood pressure, and side effects
- A discussion about fertility. Testosterone can lower sperm production, so men who want children should tell us up front.

Testosterone isn't right for everyone. For example, it may not be appropriate for men with certain cancers, untreated severe sleep apnea, or very high blood counts. We'll review your history carefully.

Who this is for

Testosterone therapy is offered to men 35 and older who live in Texas, including:
- Men with symptoms of low T who want testing
- Men who were previously diagnosed and want convenient virtual follow-up
- Busy or rural Texans who'd rather skip the drive
